INGREDIENTS 

Ashwagandha

Identified as the Queen of Ayurveda, Ashwagandha in Sanskrit means ‘Odour of the horse’ for it is believed to help you gain horse-like strength and vitality. 

In Ayurveda, Ashwagandha can be good for all dosha types and constitutions but is especially used to balance excess Vata and Kapha because of its heating, oily and strengthening nature.

A natural stress buster. An herbal blessing to those battling with chronic stress. Ashwagandha possesses anti-stress properties which help bring down the high level of our stress hormone called cortisol. It also has a dual capacity to energize and calm the body and mind simultaneously. 

 

 

Aloe vera

If Ashwagandha is the Queen of Ayurveda, Aloe Vera has to be the princess. The Sanskrit name for Aloe Vera is Kumari, meaning ‘Princess’, which would translate to  ‘youthful/young beauty’. 

In Ayurveda, Aloe Vera balances all three doshas – Kapha, Pitta & Vatta, and is cold in potency. It is also used in treatment of constipation, skin problems, and diseases due to Pitta aggravation

. It gives us added ability to get by the emotional, mental, physical, and environmental stress. The high level of antioxidants in Aloe Vera helps to combat the unstable compounds termed free radicals, contributing to the aging process. 

 

 

 

Shatavari

Shatavari – the Goddess of Ayurvedic herbs is a climbing plant which grows in low jungles areas throughout India. This sweet and bitter herb is particularly balancing to Pitta Dosha.

In India, Shatavari is considered the women's equivalent to Ashwagandha. The name translates to “having 100 spouses,” alluding to its uses as a female reproductive aid. The healing qualities of Shatavari are useful to a wide array of ailments. It is used topically for its soothing and cooling properties and is known for its reputation as a strong rejuvenative for not only the digestive and reproductive systems, but for the blood as well. 

 

 

 

Gokhru

Gokhru is a prostrate spreading medicinal herb which is found almost throughout India up to 3000 m altitude. In most part of India it is known as Gokhru Kata. 

Gokhru is used to treat various clinical conditions like sexual weakness. It helps in breaking and elimination of the kidney stone from the body. It also prevents recurrent stone formation. Gokhru also increases hormones secretion in the body. It supports testosterone production and muscle building. 

 



 

Safed Musli

Safed Musli (Chlorophytum Borivilianum), also called White Musli, is a potent aphrodisiac and string adaptogenic herb used in ayurveda and herbal science. It is effective for improving male performance, inducing spermatogenesis and providing strength to the muscles.

Ayurveda has a concept of BRIHANA (Nourishing Therapy) treatment, which includes herbs, which increase body endurance and improve strength and enhance physical performance. This type of treatment is highly beneficial and advisable for diseases like osteoarthritis, male weakness, reduced vitality, and muscular weakness, fatigue, bodybuilding etc. Safed Musli is one of important herb in Ayurveda, which provides all these benefits. 

 

 


Garcinia (Kokum)

Garcinia, a small, sweet, exotic fruit native to South India and Southeast Asia has garnered a lot of attention of late as a popular natural weight loss aid. People have long used the dried Garcinia rinds for chutneys or curries, and sometimes as an aid for stomach problems. 

Its active ingredient, a derivative of citric acid, called hydrocytric acid or HCA, hinders the work of citrate lyase in the body. Citrate lyase is the enzyme responsible for changing carbohydrates into fatty acids. By halting the carbohydrate conversion process, HCA blocks fat and produces weight loss. 

 

 


Shilajit

When it comes to healing, there’s one ingredient that completely rocks it - Shilajit. Found in the layers of rock in several mountain ranges throughout the world, Shilajit is a nutrient-rich resin that can help you with memory, energy, mood, detox, and more.  

Known as the destroyer of weakness, it delivers energy and nutrients to the cells in the body at astonishing levels. Often described as yogavahi, meaning whatever is taken with it, will be enhanced due to its ability to rejuvenate a cell by driving oxygen and nutrients into it. 

 

 

 


Senna Patti

No. This is no ancient army commander of a kingdom. 

It’s nonetheless an Ayurvedic leaf that has been extensively used as a laxative. Ayurveda mentions Senna as an excellent laxative and it has been backed by various scientific studies. 

What it does is, it brings about movements of the intestine and ensure complete bowel evacuation, thus, making it very effective in constipation. It may act a coolant and helps in clearing heat that can lead to bloating & discomfort in the digestive system. 

 

 


Haritaki (Harad)

The life giving. The divine fruit. And the medicine that rejects all illness, Harikati is the one of the three musketeers of Triphala and is rightly coined ‘The King of Herbs’ in the Ayurvedic community. 

In Ayurveda, Haritaki is acutally tridoshic, meaning that it can help bring balance to all three doshas. Incredibly high in Vitamin C, this superfruit has the potential to boost immunity and provide effective anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties as well. A wonder herb that’s largely underutilized due to lack of knowledge. 

 


Ajwain

No Indian meal is complete without it. A spice that’s found in every Indian household,  Ajwain is commonly added to deep-fried foods, such as fritters, in Indian cooking, to help ease of digestion. 

According to Ayurveda, Ajwain is a powerful cleanser and is helpful for pacifying Vata and Kapha. It is helpful for stimulating the appetite and enhancing digestion. It is recommended to help alleviate gas and discomfort in the stomach. A home remedy used for a variety of health conditions such as abdominal pain, cramps, intestinal gas, indigestion, vomiting, and diarrhea.
