Lord Krishna states in Srimad Bhagavad-Gita: Chapter 10, verse 28

Asmi Dhenunam Kamadhuk

- Dhenunam means "Among Cows,"

- Asmi means "I am,"

- and Kamadhuk means "Wish Fulfilling Cow."

Among  Cows, I Am The Wish-Fulfilling Cow

In this verse, Lord Krishna reveals that He manifests among cows as the Kamadhuk, which means Kamadhenu, the original wish-fulfilling cows known as Surabhi cows. The following information from Krishna Dvaipayana Vyasa's Anusasana Parva of the Mahabharata will reveal who and what the Surabhi cows are, and how the Surabhi cows attained such an elevated and exalted position that they are able to represent a portion of the energy of the Supreme Lord Krishna.

Cows are the most important creatures on the planet. The means for sustaining the world have been established through cows. Cows are auspicious and sacred, and they bestow all blessings. Cows provide milk, yogurt, cheese, butter, and ghee to humans. According to the Vedas, cow's milk is equivalent to ambrosial nectar, and ghee derived from cow's milk is the best of all libations poured onto brahmins' sacred fires.

The cow is revered as one of India's most sacred animals. Millions of Hindus revere and worship it. The cow has numerous characteristics. The cow's ability to provide life-sustaining milk has elevated its status to that of a Mother Goddess. As a result, the people regard it as a Maternal Figure.

The Cow's Ayurvedic Significance

Ayurveda recognizes the value of a cow. It is a strong advocate for the'Sattvic' qualities of milk and dairy products. Yogurt, Butter Milk, Organic Milk, ghee, and other milk products are not only nutritious but also contain calcium and protein. Ghee and cow dung used in 'Yagna' fire ceremonies not only complete the ritual but also help to purify the air.

Ayurveda also believes that some diseases cannot be healed solely by medicines, and they promote 'Panchamrit,' a drink that is said to be blessed with healing properties. It is a 'nectar of the gods made of five ingredients: yogurt, ghee, honey, sugar, and milk. It is given out at the conclusion of religious ceremonies. The 'Panchamrit' is said to fill a person with divine energy and heal him from within.

Ayurvedic Advantages of Cow Dung

Healing Properties

Cow dung has germicidal and healing properties, according to Ayurveda. Cow dung is mentioned several times in ancient Indian scriptures to this effect.

Antibacterial Properties

Cow dung is an excellent natural disinfectant. To disinfect an area with cow dung, apply a paste of fresh cow dung to the floor. This practice is practiced in many rural households across India. It is also said that burning dried cow dung cakes repels insects and mosquitoes.

Mood-Boosting Properties

It contains Mycobacterium vaccae bacteria, which are responsible for activating neurons that produce serotonin. Seratonin is a neurotransmitter that contributes to a person's happiness.

Ayurvedic Advantages of Cow Urine

Fights Cancer

Cow urine removes free radicals from your blood and fights cancer caused by oxidative stress. This activity boosts your immunity and protects your cellular DNA from further damage, thereby slowing cancer growth or spread.

Diabetes and Insulin Sensitivity Management

Cow urine contains antioxidants in the form of volatile fatty acids. These compounds, in conjunction with vitamins, regulate blood glucose levels. It gives effective results in lower blood glucose levels and cures diabetes.

Hypolipidemic and Hepatoprotective Properties

High dietary cholesterol levels can activate pro-inflammatory compounds and free radicals. The accumulation of lipid peroxides and free radicals causes oxidative stress and liver inflammation.

Cow urine contained many constituents, including copper, kallikrein, urokinase, nitrogen, uric acid, hippuric acid, and phosphate, according to biochemical analysis.

Thyroid and Iodine Deficiency Regulation

Iodine is required for the synthesis of thyroid hormones such as triiodothyronine (T3) and thyroxine

When there is a lack of iodine, the pituitary gland secretes more thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH). This excessive secretion causes the thyroid gland to enlarge and causes goiter, stillbirths, abortions, unnatural weight loss or gain, and other iodine deficiencies.

Good Wound Healer

In Ayurveda, gomutra, or cow urine, is used to treat eczema, acne, pimples, and aging symptoms. Face and skin packs formulated in distilled cow urine with natural antimicrobial and antioxidant ingredients such as acacia, rock salt, jaggery, milk, coriander, Myristica, nutmeg (plant parts), neem, and hematite (6).

A healthy body requires a strong immune system. Cow ghee is also an immunity booster because it prevents the formation of free radicals in our bodies, which leads to chronic health conditions such as cardiac disorders, inflammatory disease, cataracts, and a variety of other diseases.

At a time when the world is experiencing a major pandemic, it is critical to boosting our immunity in order to avoid becoming ill. Cow ghee, with its broad nutritional spectrum and antioxidant properties, is an absolute must in your daily diet.
