We have often struggled with the 'one size fits all' medication and are quite tired of how it has turned out for our health. While helping our body heal through medications and therapies, we must understand how each body is unique and responds differently to any sort of medication it is subjected to - be it any form of medicine.
Having said that, it is important to understand how Ayurveda works by taking so many body types into consideration. According to Ayurveda, the human body is a varied balance of three primary doshas that is inspired by five fundamental elements of the universe i.e. Space, Fire, Earth, Water and Air. These five elements in different combinations signify three different Dosha balance i.e. Vata, Pitta and Kapha and thereby, determine the constitution of our body.
Vata Dosha: Primarily inspired by the characteristics of Space and Air, Vata Dosha governs all the movements and locomotive actions along with vital functions like breathing, heartbeats, and pulse rate.
Pitta Dosha: Often known to be a volatile combination due to its inspiration from polar opposite elements i.e. fire and water, Pitta is responsible for the regulation of body temperature, nutrition, metabolism & digestion.
Kapha Dosha: Considered to be a soothing balance of two primary elements i.e. earth and water, Kapha Dosha helps in taking care of bones, tissues, teeth and muscle development of the body.
A fair balance between all these three dosha systems is what enables a body to perform and thrive well. As a new age Ayurveda start-up which is working tirelessly towards bringing old habits back into our daily lifestyle, we at AADAR ensure that all our formulations help our patrons strike that fine balance of dosha while forming the good old habits inspired from Ayurveda. It is essentially why you see our logo representing all three doshas in a serene balance catering to all body types.
